TronMe: Simplicity and Technology in Music

Copyright: June 30, 2009 by Judith Allison for Associated Content

Does anybody remember the movie, Tron, where a man interacted within a computer program and made reality change as a result. This new software is something along those lines - combining music, art and technology to create something new and different.

TronMe is a new media player, and if that was all there was to it, this would be a really short article. It is a free, downloadable software that lets users remix and control their favorite tunes, record interactive videos and combine each to make something better than each individual piece. With the latest release, there is a new auto play function which turns TronMe into a home music system that allows users to automatically listen to music tracks based on something called an .ivs file along with the info gathered and analyzed from the webcam and coming out with absolutely stunning results.

Everyone Is A Musical Artist With TronMe

Users can regain controls quickly and easily in order to add new instruments or sections, but it seems hardly necessary if you can move to the music and watch what happens. You can even share it online. While the software is new, 100+ new users are signing up on a daily basis, setting up to play their own MP3 tracks and making art with the interactive add-on format called .ivs. With the TronMe player, your tracks will come alive.

Patrick Levy Rosenthal, CEO - On TronMe

The 3D Solar CEO, Patrick Levy Rosenthal had this to say about TronMe: "If an mp3 file is a gem stone, then to convert it to interactive is to add loops to it so you can see new dimensions shining from it. Every time your track is remixed it is like watching your stone from a different angle showing endless possibilities, bursts of light and color."

Quick & Easy Installation

Installation is quick and simple and the software, once installed, lists all of the MP3 tracks found on a user's PC. In addition, if other TronMe artists have already found interesting musical loops in a specific song, the software will inform you about it. You can decide if you want to use the same loops for your tracks in the TronMe player.

Subscriptions Available At a Nominal Fee

Subscriptions cost a small monthly fee which gets you access to a lot of new versions of TronMe material which is uploaded on a daily basis. If you love music and art, this combination will rock your music world and inspire artistic creations that you can share with other like-minded individuals.

TronMe is currently becoming a hit internationally with it coming to the United States and taking it by storm. As users join and convert their MP3s into tracks and loops or Trons, the higher the user's score. With a higher score comes more tools to use, as well as access to special effects and songs. Overall, TronMe is another fun, interactive way to interact with your computer and the social networking community at large.
